Light pollution is increasing, and dark skies are getting harder and harder to find. On Tuesday, September 19th, at 6:30pm in the Nocatee Room Alden Howell of Dark Sky Jax will share with Residents how they can implement better lighting practices, save dark skies, and protect them for future generations.

Light pollution is increasing, and dark skies are getting harder and harder to find. On Tuesday, September 19th, at 6:30pm in the Nocatee Room Alden Howell of Dark Sky Jax will share with Residents how they can implement better lighting practices, save dark skies, and protect them for future generations. He will communicate the value of a dark sky, as well as to educate about the threats of light pollution to humans and the environment. This is a FREE event for Residents and registration is required. Please note: There are a limited number of reservations available for all Nocatee Residents. If you cannot attend and you fail to cancel your reservation 24 hours before the event, you agree to a $5 per ticket charge to your credit card regardless of the reason.
